Services for Archie W. Todd, 84, of Peggs, were held Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at 2:00pm in the Peggs Community Church.  Pastor Rex Hendrickson officiated, with interment following in the Moody Cemetery.  Services were under the direction of the Locust Grove Funeral Home.

Mr. Todd was born June 16, 1918, in Mountain View, Oklahoma, to Melvin Clyde and Miva Lee (Lunsford) Todd.  He grew up and attended school in Mountain View and Carnegie.  He married Mary I. Peters on February 1, 1944, in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  He entered the US Army in 1945 and served in Germany during WWII before his honorable discharge in 1948.  He came to the Peggs area in 1949 from Chickasha.  He worked as a forklift operator for Otasco, retiring in 1975.  He attended the Rocky Ford Church.  He passed from this life on June 6, 2003, in Claremore.

He is survived by his wife Mary Todd of the home; brother Melvin O. Todd of Chickasha; sister Billie Jean Wright of Lookeba; as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by both parents; his step-father Fonzo Buckner; and sister Estelle Morton.
