Benjamin Michael Morgan was born on October 8, 1993, in Butte, MT, to Mark Gerard Morgan, Sr. & Tara Lee (Shepherd) Morgan. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, in Locust Grove, Oklahoma, at the age of 20 years, 3 months, & 21 days.

Growing up, Ben had been a part of the Jr. R.O.T.C. Program. He had lived in Turtle Lake, ND until making his home in Peggs in 2010. Ben had attended Vo-Tech in Tahlequah, OK, where he acquired skills in heavy equipment operations. He had been an employee for Berry Plastics in Pryor. Ben had taught swimming at NSU in Tahlequah for the Boys & Girls Club. He had been a part of the Peggs Community Church. Ben loved to hunt & be outdoors. He also enjoyed fishing & skeet shooting. Ben loved taking care of his soon to be wife Ashley & their newborn baby Lenzie.

Ben is survived by: his fiancé: Ashley Hays of the home; infant daughter: Lenzie Morgan; his parents: Mark & Tara Morgan of Peggs, OK; 2 brothers: Mark Morgan, Jr. & wife Tamara of ND & Zechariah Morgan & wife Nicole of Grand Forks, ND; 2 sisters: Talitha Morgan of Newport News, VA & Adriana Morgan of Peggs, OK; Paternal grandmother: Georgiana Morgan of Helena, MT; Maternal grandparents: Bernard & Bonnie Boyson of Firesteel, SD; 1 nephew: Jacob Morgan of ND; Numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives, & a host of friends. Ben was preceded in death by: paternal grandfather: R.O. Morgan & 1 aunt: Carla Morgan.

Funeral services were held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 6, 2014, at the Peggs Community Church in Peggs, Oklahoma. Reverend Rex Hendrickson officiated. Interment followed at the New Home Cemetery in Peggs. Services were entrusted to the Locust Grove Funeral Home.
