D. J. Littlefield
D. J. Littlefield was
born October 9, 1957, in Pryor, Oklahoma, to Deward and Bernice (Burchett) Littlefield. He departed this on Sunday, May 29, 2005, at the
age of 47 years, 7 months, and 20 days.
D. J. grew up in the
Locust Grove area. He attended school at Iron
Post until the 3rd grade and then attended Locust Grove Schools until
graduation. He also completed some college
courses.
D. J. was an
accomplished carpenter. He was self-employed
and was a very hard worker. He enjoyed scuba
diving, skiing, and boating. As well, he liked
to go camping and hiking. He gave his heart to
the Lord recently through his association with Pastor John Kiddy of the
D. J. is survived by:
his wife: Brenda Rowland of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; 1 daughter: Danielle Littlefield of
Pryor, Oklahoma; 2 sons: Deward Jack Littlefield III of Collinsville, Oklahoma and Billy
Jack Littlefield of Gore, Oklahoma; his father: Deward Littlefield and wife Jewel of
Locust Grove, Oklahoma; 2 brothers: Bill Littlefield and wife Donna of Locust Grove,
Oklahoma and Gerald Littlefield and wife Doris of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; 1 sister:
Jacquline Pendleton and husband Mike of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; 1 granddaughter: Chloe
Littlefield of Pryor, Oklahoma; 2 stepsons: Jeremy Neel of Locust Grove, Oklahoma and Joe
Neel of Tulsa, Oklahoma; other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in
death by his mother: Bernice Littlefield.
Funeral services were
held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at the
