Brenda C. Somerville

Brenda C. Somerville was born April 4, 1948 in Sweet Home, Oregon, to Louis and Pauline (Doughty) Kindle.  She departed this life on Tuesday, July 12, 2005, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, at the age of 57 years, 3 months, and 8 days.

Having attended schools in Oregon, Brenda Carol Kindle was united in marriage to Clinton Somerville on November 25, 1974.  The couple lived in Oregon until they moved to Colcord in 1996.

Brenda was of the Baptist faith.  She enjoyed working jigsaw and crossword puzzles.  She also enjoyed card games, such as cribbage and peaknuckle.  Brenda also loved the outdoors.

She is survived by: her husband: Clinton, of the home; 4 children: Belinda Moore of Colcord, Oklahoma, Billie Sue Lenington and husband Brian of Waneeka, Oklahoma, James Clinton Somerville and wife Missy of Cottage Grove, Oregon, and Patrick Somerville of Colcord, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers: David Kindle of Oak Ridge, Oregon and Bob Kindle of Oak Ridge, Oregon; and 1 sister: Dorothy Mason of Northern California;

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sons: Robert Lowe and Damon Lowe;

A memorial gathering of friends and family was held 2 P.M., Saturday, July 16, 2005, at the Colcord City Park.  Services have been entrusted to the Locust Grove Funeral Home.
