departed this life on Friday, July 23, 1999, at the V.A. Medical Center in Muskogee.
He grew up in the Locust Grove area, and

Vietnam. He held the National Security Agency's highest secret security clearance.
He returned to the Peggs area in 1970,
coming from Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls, Texas. In his civilian life he studied Free Masonry
and became a Master Mason. He had been a member of Covey Masonic Lodge #460 in Locust
Grove. In his retirement, he also enjoyed fishing, taking walks, and working on small
engines. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, whom he dearly
loved.
